------------------------------------------------

Triangle, Circle and Square live quietly in their multicoloured maze. One day, however, Circle gets lost in the maze. Triangle is desperate### and sends Square to look for him###\ERROR#???# blah blah blah...

This might seem like another one of those corny games with a stupid maze to go through, but what if there's more to it than that?

What if we npcs know you're playing?

Hello! Just recently you had a few other games on your page and I wanted to try them, may I ask where they went?

I hid them under the carpet as you do with things you don't want to show guests ahaha

I'll leave them visible for a few more days, then remove them because they are not complete projects. I really appreciate the interest anyway :)

I completely understand! :-) Thank you, ignore my post on Rpgmakerweb! Thanks!

Hello,

Last night I streamed your game. At first, I didn't know what to think about this game based solely on it's store page, however, after giving it a try I actually found myself really enjoying the game. The story and art is surprisingly compelling (which is not at all what I expected given the simple geometric shapes and generic maze game play) I was absolutely in love with this game until disaster struck and I was effectively soft locked.

I had missed the installation instructions stating that the game needed to be on the desktop in order to work correctly. I made it up to the point where the game spawned new windows and realized I had been softlocked. Due to the game not having a save system (which would have allowed me to close the game and move it to the appropriate location) I was forced give up, which made me lose any motivation of replaying what I had already played just to get back to where I was.
I understand the meta aspect of not having a save system, however, the result is harming the user experience. If the game is designed around not having a save system, I think it is vitally important that the game has been very well designed and program to ensure that players never NEED to feel like they should save.
Otherwise, if this game absolutely requires it to be on the desktop in order to work - which I find as a strange limitation - I would first say: You should find a way to remove the requirement entirely as it does nothing but hurt your game. However, if it is an ABSOLUTE MUST, as in there is no way around it, there should be a warning screen the very MOMENT the game is launched that clearly states "In order for this game to work properly, it must be located on the desktop."

Overall, I was so-so-so heartbroken when I reached this point, because up until that moment I was genuinely having fun with this game which is quite rare for these game streams I have been doing.

If you want to see my initial experience with the game, you can click the link below to watch my stream. Use the time stamps to skip to when I play your game.
